First Home-bred Winner

Lodgehill Stables has had its first home-bred winner Time Stream the 3yo filly running out a 2 3/4L winner of a 2m6f maiden hurdle.

My other two home-bred foals that were making their débuts this season both ran very respectably finishing in the placings

Retirements

Had a total of 10 retirements this season with the 114 rated Divine Sarah being the highest rated to head to the breeding barn along with 110 rated stallion Marco Polo who is now the proud sire of three new foals including one with Divine Sarah this colt looks to have a very bright future the other two are something on an unknown the dam for each are fairly average.

                                   
                                   
                                   


One of last seasons retirements stable star Dawana rated 115 has recently had her second foal half brother to Tijuana which is due to start his career this season Margin Of Safety who's sire is national winner Margin Of Error looks to be a very nice prospect for the future over staying trip

                                   

End Of Season Jan 2012 to June 2012

The end of the season has finally arrived after a long six months but a productive one for Lodgehill Stables a record high finish in the trainers championship of 3rd place since the return of Final Flight back in March of 2010.

Another record breaking season for the yard with 172 winners this season as well as a total of 436 placed runners from an amazing 1682 total runners for the campaign.

One real big plus this season was the Order Of Merit with my yard having the first three in the standings, the biggest surprise of all though was the winner in Mikael D'haguenet a 114 rated maiden who claimed the title with 48 points a real surprise.

Lodgehill Stables

Lodgehill Stables was set up back in April of 2006 on the old version of final flight which ran for two years with the site closing in 2008 for renovations, after a long wait the site was relaunched in early 2010 since the relaunch i have had great success with my yard while not yet winning the trainers championship my yard has been steadily improving in the four and a half seasons that have gone by.

This season at the time of writing this i am on course to finish 3rd in the trainers championship with 171 winners and a total of 433 placed runners with total prize money for this season of £460,975, which has brought my career earning since the return of Final Flight back in March 2010 to £1,239,613.
